At Elevé Dance Academy, we believe every student deserves exceptional dance education in an environment where they feel encouraged, challenged, and supported. Through intentional instruction and meaningful relationships, we help students develop confidence, discipline, and artistry that extends beyond the studio.
At Elevé, our mission is to inspire and empower dancers through exceptional training, meaningful opportunities, and a community where every dancer can thrive.

Our vision is to cultivate an inclusive dance community where every student is inspired to grow in confidence, character, and artistry through exceptional dance education. We strive to create an environment where students feel challenged to achieve their personal best, supported through every stage of their journey, and empowered with skills and values that extend far beyond the studio, with the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.

At Elevé, students explore a variety of dance styles, but every dancer begins with ballet. We believe classical training develops the strength, technique, discipline, and artistry that supports confident, versatile dancers throughout their dance education.
Every dancer's path is unique. Some students dance once a week for the joy of movement. Others pursue more focused training through our Conservatory. No matter the destination, every student deserves exceptional instruction, meaningful encouragement, and the opportunity to grow.

Meet the owner!
Sydnee Carroll has been dancing since the young age of 3 years old and decided to begin the Elevé Dance ATL program in June of 2023 to provide a safe space for children to receive conservatory style dance training in a diverse setting.
Sydnee trained professionally at Howard University under the Theatre Arts-Dance program. During her time at Howard University she taught youth dance classes at Princess Mhoon Dance Institute, Joy of Motion Dance Centre, and Center City Public Charter School in Washington D.C.
Ms. Carroll has also trained and performed professionally under a variety of programs including three consecutive summer intensives at the Dance Theatre of Harlem, Complexions Contemporary Ballet Winter and Summer Workshops and Intensives, Alvin Ailey Workshops, and the Houston MET Dance Summer Intensive.
She joined the DC Contemporary Ballet Company and performed in two seasons in 2017 and 2018.
From 2017-2019 Sydnee spent her summers leading a summer dance camp for children ages 4-6 with DC Parks & Recreation and through this experience she found her passion and purpose in the dance world. She loves working with children and has a very kind and nurturing approach to teaching!
